Fiber optical simplex cable InLine LC/APC to LC/APC OS2 9/125µm 1 m
Fiber optical simplex cable InLine LC/APC to LC/APC OS2 9/125µm 1 m
InLine fiber optical simplex cable LC/APC to LC/APC OS2 9/125µm, length 1 m, is a single-mode patch cable designed for indoor FTTH and single-channel links. It features LC connectors with 8° APC polish on both ends and OS2 grade fiber with a 9/125 µm core/cladding. The cable is intended for reliable, low-loss connections between the household fiber entry point, optical modem or transceiver and other fiber equipment.
The cable provides low insertion loss and high return loss consistent with single-mode OS2 performance, enabling stable transmission for broadband and telecom applications. Its 3.0 mm outer diameter, halogen-free sheath and stainless steel spiral reinforcement increase mechanical stability compared with very thin provider-supplied pigtails. The neutral white sheath allows unobtrusive installation in living areas. A test report is supplied to document optical performance.
Connect one LC/APC connector to the fiber outlet or patch panel and the other LC/APC connector to the optical modem, transceiver or receiver. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid contamination-related loss; use appropriate dust caps when the cable is not connected. Route the cable with gentle bends, observing the minimum bend radius of the fiber, and secure it in place using clips or cable management suitable for indoor installations.
For consistent optical performance, clean connectors with a fiber cleaning tool before each connection and avoid sharp bends or crushing. Use the supplied test report to verify insertion and return loss if required during installation or maintenance.
