The cable uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9/125 µm core/cladding and SC/APC 8° polished connectors on both ends to minimise back reflection and ensure stable signal transmission. With a 3.0 mm armoured outer diameter and a white, halogen-free sheath, this cable is intended for reliable short indoor runs between the building transfer point and a fibre modem or other equipment.

Advantages

The armoured 3.0 mm construction with a stainless steel spiral tube increases mechanical robustness compared with very thin provider-supplied leads, reducing the risk of damage during installation or everyday use. SC/APC 8° polished connectors deliver low insertion loss and high return loss for improved optical link performance.
