InLine Fiber Optical Simplex Cable FTTH SC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° 9/125µm OS2 15 m is a single-mode patch cable designed for fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) installations and short- to medium-distance optical links. The cable features OS2 single-mode fibre (9/125 µm) with SC/APC 8° connectors on both ends, a white outer sheath and a 15 m length suitable for connecting the building transfer point to a fibre modem or for in-home optical extensions and patching. The cable construction includes an armoured structure and a reinforced inner tubing that improves mechanical robustness compared with very thin provider-supplied leads.

Advantages

The armoured 3.0 mm (±0.2 mm) outer diameter and stainless-steel spiral reinforcement provide higher mechanical stability and resistance to accidental damage than typical 1.6 mm provider cables.
