The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/ST 50/125µm OM3 1m is a multimode duplex fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in short to medium reach networks. Featuring an LC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other, the cable uses 50/125 µm OM3 graded multimode fiber to support high bandwidth and low-latency links. Its 1 meter length provides a compact, flexible connection between switches, media converters, transceivers and active network equipment in data centers, server rooms and office environments.
This cable combines the low-insertion-loss performance of OM3 multimode fiber with duplex transmission capability to maintain simultaneous bi-directional communication. The mixed LC to ST termination enables compatibility with devices requiring either small-form-factor LC ports or legacy ST interfaces, reducing the need for additional adapters. The 50/125 µm core and OM3 specification allow support for higher modal bandwidths suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances and reliable signal integrity in typical LAN installations.
Route the 1 m duplex cable between the device with an LC port and the device with an ST port, ensuring connectors are aligned and fully seated into their respective ports. Handle the fiber by the connector housings and avoid bending the cable beyond manufacturer recommended bend radius.
