The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 50/125µm OM5 2m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern network environments. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM5 grade multimode fiber that supports multiple wavelengths for short- to mid-range links. Both ends use LC duplex connectors, providing compact, reliable connections for switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centers and enterprise networks.
This LC/LC duplex cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance across the OM5 wavelength range. The compact LC connectors reduce port space while maintaining mechanical stability and optical alignment. The OM5 fiber specification enables wavelength-division multiplexing techniques for increased capacity on short-reach links, and the 2 m length is convenient for rack-to-rack and patch-panel connections where a neat, organized cabling layout is required.
Route the cable between the LC ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring connectors are free from dust and contaminants before insertion. Align the duplex clip correctly with the device port and insert until it clicks to secure the connection. Avoid tight bends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fiber to prevent attenuation.
