Power Supply INNE URZ2298 — 12V DC 1.5A Switch Mode Adapter with 2.1/5.5 mm Connector
INNE URZ2298 is a switch-mode DC power supply that provides a stabilized 12V output at up to 1.5A. The adapter uses a common 2.1/5.5 mm barrel connector and is intended for powering small electronics, network devices, CCTV cameras, LED strips and other equipment that require a steady 12V DC source. The design includes short-circuit and overload protection and efficient conversion for continuous or long-term operation.
The adapter delivers a regulated 12V output with a maximum current of 1.5A, offering stable voltage for connected devices. Its switch-mode design ensures higher efficiency and lower heat generation compared with unregulated supplies of similar size. A standard 2.1/5.5 mm barrel connector provides wide compatibility with common consumer and surveillance equipment. Built-in short-circuit and overload protection helps reduce the risk of damage to both the adapter and the connected device.
This adapter provides up to 1.5A of current; devices that require higher currents or peak loads above this rating are not suitable without an intermediate power management solution. It is not intended for use with products that require different connector types, different voltages, or specialized power supplies (for example, certain industrial equipment or devices that need isolated outputs).
Connect the adapter to an appropriate AC mains outlet using the attached power cord, then plug the 2.1/5.5 mm barrel connector into the device’s DC input jack, ensuring correct polarity. Verify that the device’s required voltage and current do not exceed 12V and 1.5A respectively. Power the adapter on and check that the connected device operates normally. If the adapter or device becomes unusually hot or if protection trips, disconnect and inspect for faults.
Use the adapter in a well-ventilated area and avoid covering it during continuous operation. For devices with higher startup currents, allow a margin between the device’s peak demand and the adapter’s 1.5A rating. If in doubt about compatibility, consult the device manufacturer’s power requirements before use.
