SFP Mini GBIC Transceiver INTELLINET 545013 1.25 Gbps 850 nm LC
SFP Mini GBIC Transceiver INTELLINET 545013 1.25 Gbps 850 nm LC
The INTELLINET SFP Mini GBIC Transceiver 545013 is a compact hot-swappable optical module designed for short-range multimode fiber connections. It supports a data rate of 1.25 Gbps and operates at an 850 nm wavelength using an LC duplex connector. The module is intended for use in devices with standard SFP ports to provide 1 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks and server or switch fiber links over multimode fibre.
This transceiver provides a reliable solution for short-distance fiber links by combining industry-standard SFP form factor compatibility with an LC duplex interface and a common 850 nm wavelength. Its hot-swappable design enables installation or replacement without powering down equipment, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime. The 1.25 Gbps transfer capability ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet network segments that require fiber connectivity.
Insert the INTELLINET SFP Mini GBIC transceiver into a compatible SFP port on a switch, router or network interface module until it clicks into place. Connect a matching multimode LC duplex patch cable between the module and the network device or patch panel. The module supports hot-swapping, so it can be installed or removed while the host device remains powered, provided the host supports hot-swappable SFP modules. Configure the network interface on the host device according to your switch or server management interface to enable the link and verify operation.
For best results, use OM1/OM2/OM3 multimode fiber and LC duplex patch cables of appropriate length for short-range links; verify link budget and LED/link status indicators on your network equipment after installation. Ensure device compatibility with standard SFP modules and consult switch or server documentation for any vendor-specific settings or required firmware updates.
