Intellinet Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Injector 1 x 30 W IEEE 802.3at/af
Intellinet Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Injector 1 x 30 W IEEE 802.3at/af
The Intellinet Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Injector 1 x 30 W IEEE 802.3at/af supplies up to 30 W of DC power over a single Ethernet cable while passing Gigabit data. Designed for use with IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af powered devices, the injector connects to a non-PoE switch port and delivers both power and data over existing Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. The unit is housed in a durable metal enclosure and includes LED indicators for power and PoE status. It accepts 100–240 V AC input and provides detection and protection features to safeguard connected equipment.
This PoE+ injector reduces installation costs by eliminating the need for separate AC power wiring to endpoints such as IP cameras and wireless access points. With up to 30 W output it supports power-hungry devices while maintaining Gigabit throughput. Built-in safety features protect against short circuits, overloads and high-voltage events, and the fanless metal design offers quiet, reliable operation in network closets or office environments.
Connect the injector's data input port to a LAN switch or router port using an Ethernet cable. Plug the powered device into the injector's PoE output port with a second Ethernet cable to deliver both power and data. Connect the injector to AC mains (100–240 V) using the supplied power cord. Verify the LED indicators: the power LED should be lit and the PoE LED should indicate that a compliant device has been detected and is being powered. For best results, use Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for Gigabit performance and keep cable runs within standard Ethernet distance limits.
Place the injector in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Use it with IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant devices and quality Ethernet cabling to ensure reliable power delivery. If multiple devices require PoE, consider a dedicated PoE switch or multiple injectors to avoid exceeding the injector's 30 W capacity. Regularly inspect cables and connectors for wear and ensure firmware and device settings on connected equipment are up to date.
