UTP RJ45 Cat5e Plug INTELLINET 790055, for stranded cable, pack of 100
INTELLINET UTP RJ45 Cat5e Plug 790055 for stranded cable, pack of 100 are modular termination connectors designed for Cat5e twisted‑pair Ethernet cabling. These RJ45 plugs are intended for use with stranded (multi‑strand) UTP conductors and enable the assembly and repair of patch cords, custom cables, and field terminations in office, data center and residential network installations.
These modular plugs are manufactured to fit Cat5e UTP stranded conductor diameters, providing reliable electrical contact and mechanical retention when crimped with compatible tools. Supplied in a pack of 100, they offer cost‑effective bulk quantities for installers and technicians. The clear housing design allows visual verification of wire order before crimping and supports standard eight‑position eight‑contact (8P8C) terminations for Ethernet signal integrity.
Strip approximately 10–15 mm of the cable jacket, untwist the pairs and align conductors according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the conductors fully into the plug so each wire reaches its contact, visually confirm correct order through the transparent housing, then crimp using a suitable RJ45 crimping tool designed for stranded plugs. After crimping, perform a continuity or cable tester check to verify correct termination and signal continuity.
Use plugs with stranded cable only and pair them with a crimping tool rated for modular plugs to ensure secure contacts; test each assembled cable with a network cable tester before deployment.
