Keystone Jack Cat5e UTP Intellinet 210997 Green
Keystone Jack Cat5e UTP Intellinet 210997 Green
The Intellinet Keystone Jack Cat5e UTP (model 210997) in green is a compact, flat keystone module designed for reliable RJ-45 network connections. Built in the 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) format for Cat5e UTP cabling, this single jack is suitable for home networks and larger installations where a punch-down wiring method is used. Its small dimensions (18 mm width, 28.3 mm depth, 20.8 mm height) and compatibility with 110 punch-down tools make it easy to install into standard keystone wall plates and patch panels.
This keystone jack meets industry wiring standards for Cat5e UTP and delivers stable connectivity at a competitive price. The flat construction and standard 8P8C format allow use of common 110 punch-down tools for quick termination. Available in multiple colours including green, it enables colour-coded cabling schemes for easier identification and organisation. The unit is lightweight (0.01 kg) and sold individually, allowing flexible inventory management for projects of any size.
Prepare the Cat5e UTP cable by stripping the outer sheath and arranging the conductors according to the chosen wiring code (568A or 568B). Insert the conductors into the keystone jack's IDC slots following the colour sequence and use a 110 punch-down tool to terminate each wire cleanly. Snap the finished keystone jack into a compatible wall plate or patch panel opening and plug in an RJ-45 patch cable to connect devices. Verify the connection with a cable tester if required.
Install and terminate this Cat5e UTP keystone jack using a proper 110 punch-down tool and follow either T568A or T568B wiring standard consistently across the installation. Avoid excessive cable bending near the termination point and test each link after installation to ensure reliable network performance.
