Fiber Optic Patch Cable Intellinet OM1 LC/SC 5m Orange Duplex Multimode 62.5/125 µm

The Intellinet Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM1 LC/SC 5m Orange Duplex Multimode 62.5/125 µm is a 5-metre multimode duplex patch cable with LC and SC connectors and a 62.5/125 µm core/cladding diameter. Constructed with LSZH jacket material, it is designed for high-speed data transmission in installations where low smoke and zero halogen emissions are required. The cable supports full-duplex links and is intended for use in structured cabling, data centres and enterprise networks where reliable optical connectivity and long transmission distances are needed.

Advantages

The OM1 multimode fiber offers long transmission distance capability for multimode links and inherent resistance to electromagnetic interference because it contains no metallic conductors. The LSZH jacket reduces hazardous emissions in the event of fire, and the duplex LC/SC connector pair provides standardized, easy-to-install interconnection. The product is backed by a lifetime warranty for added assurance of durability.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling
• Data centre interconnects
• Enterprise LAN backbone links
• Environments requiring low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) materials

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connector types: LC to SC duplex
• Fiber type: Multimode OM1 (62.5/125 µm)
• Jacket material: LSZH
• Colour: Orange
• Brand: INTELLINET

How to use

Connect the LC and SC ends to the corresponding transceiver ports or patch panels, ensuring correct orientation for duplex operation. Route the cable following standard cable management practices, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Verify link integrity with appropriate optical test equipment after installation.

Usage recommendations

Use multimode OM1 fiber for short- to medium-range multimode applications and in facilities where LSZH jackets are required; for longer single-mode distances, consider single-mode fiber alternatives.
