Wire connector RJ-45 Intellinet 502375
The Intellinet 502375 RJ-45 wire connector is a transparent modular plug designed for terminating unshielded twisted pair (UTP) network cables. It features 3 µm gold-plated contacts and a 2-prong terminal optimized for stranded wire, providing a reliable electrical connection for standard Ethernet installations. Each pack contains 100 connectors suitable for round cable types and common networking tasks.
Transparent housing allows visual inspection of conductor alignment during termination, while gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve long-term signal integrity. The 2-prong terminal design is intended for stranded cables, ensuring secure contact with individual conductors. Compact modular form factor fits standard RJ-45 jacks and ensures compatibility with typical crimping tools used in both professional and DIY environments.
Strip the outer jacket of the UTP round cable to expose the twisted pairs, untwist and align the conductors according to the desired wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the wires fully into the transparent RJ-45 connector so each conductor seats beneath its corresponding contact and can be seen through the housing. Use an appropriate RJ-45 crimping tool to compress the plug, which secures the 2-prong terminals into the stranded conductors and locks the plug onto the cable. Verify continuity and correct pinout with a cable tester after crimping.
For optimal results, use a quality crimping tool compatible with modular RJ-45 plugs and test each terminated cable with a network cable tester. Avoid over-stripping the jacket and maintain proper conductor alignment to prevent connection faults. These connectors are intended for unshielded applications; do not use them for shielded cable terminations where an RJ-45 shielded plug is required.
