The Intellinet Network Solutions Gigabit PoE+ Media Converter connects a 1000Base-T RJ45 copper port to a 1000Base-LX SC single-mode fibre port, enabling migration from copper Ethernet to fibre while supplying up to 30 W of PoE+ power to a compatible device. The compact metal housing supports a maximum fibre distance of 20 km and provides LED indicators for activity, link, PoE and power, allowing straightforward integration into existing network installations without changing network behaviour.
