How to use

Connect the PoE source (PoE switch or PoE injector) to the unit's "PoE In" RJ-45 port and connect the powered device to the "PoE Out" port using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Each cable segment can be up to 100 m; to extend beyond 100 m, install additional extenders in series (cascade) up to the supported number. The unit requires no configuration and draws power from the PoE input, so no external power supply is necessary.

Usage recommendations

When cascading multiple extenders, account for power budget and cable loss: each added extender consumes up to 4 W of usable PD power and additional losses increase with cable length.
