The Intellinet Gigabit Ultra PoE+ Injector delivers up to 60 W of power over a single Cat5/Cat6 cable using all four pairs, enabling power and data delivery for IoT devices such as lighting, sensors, building automation, point-of-sale terminals, thin clients and nurse call systems. How to use

Connect the injector's LAN input to a non-PoE switch port using Cat5 or Cat6 cabling and connect the injector's PoE output to the powered device (PD). Ensure the PD is IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant or supports IEEE 802.3bt for higher power. After connections are made, power the injector from AC mains according to the product manual; the injector will deliver 48 V DC over the Ethernet cable to power the device while passing data at Gigabit speeds.

Usage recommendations

Use Cat5e or Cat6 cable in good condition and keep cable runs within standard Ethernet length limits (100 m) to ensure reliable power delivery.
