The Intellinet 562003 is a managed Layer 2+ PoE++ switch with 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 2 SFP uplinks. It supports IEEE 802.3bt/at/af and provides two 4PPoE (PoE++) ports delivering up to 90 W each plus six PoE+ ports up to 30 W per port. How to use

Install the switch on a flat surface or in a rack using appropriate mounting hardware. Connect network devices to the RJ45 Gigabit ports and fiber links to the SFP slots as needed. Configure IP address and access the web management interface to set VLANs, QoS, port aggregation and PoE parameters. Use the PoE management options to set per-port priority, maximum power per port and delay-time-per-port to avoid inrush current at startup. Enable PDM (Powered Device Monitor) to allow automatic PD alive checks and automated reboot of unresponsive PoE devices.

Usage recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated location with ambient temperature within the manufacturer’s specified range, and ensure total connected PoE load does not exceed the device’s power budget unless you have configured PoE priorities and per-port limits. Regularly monitor power draw and SNMP traps to detect overload conditions early.
