Intellinet 19-inch 24-Port Shielded Blank Patch Panel 0.5U Unloaded Rackmount Keystone Panel with Removable Cable-Management Bar Black

The Intellinet 19-inch 24-Port Shielded Blank Patch Panel is a high-density networking component designed to maximize connectivity while saving valuable rack space. Featuring a slim 0.5U height, this unloaded rackmount Keystone panel allows IT professionals to build structured cabling systems efficiently. Built from sturdy, cold-rolled SPCC steel, it ensures durability and reliable performance in demanding environments. The inclusion of a removable cable-management bar and an earthing kit helps maintain organized wiring and protects sensitive network equipment from electrical surges.

Advantages

This patch panel provides exceptional space-saving benefits by packing 24 ports into just 0.5U of rack space, making it an ideal choice for high-density network installations where every rack unit counts. The modular design accommodates both shielded and unshielded Keystone jacks, offering flexibility for various networking requirements. Numbered ports simplify cable tracking and port identification during maintenance or reconfiguration. Additionally, the robust steel construction and included earthing kit enhance overall system safety and reliability.

Suitable for

• High-density network installations in server rooms and data centers
• Commercial and residential structured cabling for voice, data, audio, video, and fiber optics
• IT infrastructure upgrades in small to medium-sized businesses
• Organized rack cabinets requiring secure and tidy cable routing

When it may not be suitable

This patch panel may not be suitable if standard-sized Keystone jacks are required, as it specifically necessitates slim Keystone jacks to fully populate all 24 ports within the 0.5U space. It is also not intended for environments lacking standard 19-inch rack infrastructure.

Key specifications

• 19-inch rackmountable design compatible with IEC 60297 and EIA 310 standards
• 0.5U rack height
• 24 unloaded ports for Keystone jacks
• Shielded construction with included earthing kit
• Removable cable-management bar
• Sturdy cold-rolled SPCC steel material
• Dimensions: 482.6 mm width, 22.2 mm height, 124 mm depth

How to use

Mount the panel securely into any standard 19-inch network cabinet or server rack using the provided mounting hardware. Snap compatible slim Keystone jacks into the numbered ports according to your network layout. Terminate your network cables into the individual Keystone jacks before inserting them into the panel. Use the removable cable-management bar to secure and support the cable bundles, reducing strain on the connections. Finally, attach the earthing wire to ensure proper grounding of the shielded system.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your rack or cabinet is a standard 19-inch model with available 0.5U space
• Ensure you have compatible slim Keystone jacks, as standard-sized jacks may not fit all 24 ports simultaneously
• Check your cable management requirements to utilize the included rear support bar effectively

Usage recommendations: Install the patch panel in a clean, dry server environment and ensure proper earthing using the provided kit to protect your network infrastructure from electrical interference and surges.
