The 5 m cable uses S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ45 connectors; because there is no official Cat7 plug standard, the cable is fitted with Cat6a modular plugs built from TIA/EIA-approved components to provide the best available specification and compatibility for 10GBase-T networks.
