Rack Console Inter-Tech AS-9108 HLS 19"
The Inter-Tech AS-9108 HLS 19" rack console integrates a 19-inch LCD monitor with an integrated keyboard and touchpad in a 1U rack-mountable chassis. The display provides a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and a brightness rating of 300 cd/m². The unit offers HDMI video connectivity and USB interfaces for keyboard and mouse. Designed for mounting in standard 19" racks, its compact dimensions (482 mm width, 44.5 mm height, 615 mm depth) and 12V internal operation with wide-range 110–240 V input compatibility make it suitable for data centers, server rooms and network cabinets where space efficiency and direct local access to connected systems are required.
The console combines a high-contrast 19" panel with integrated input devices in a slim 1U form factor, saving rack space compared with separate monitor and keyboard components. HDMI video input ensures compatibility with modern servers and KVM switches, while USB keyboard and mouse ports provide plug-and-play operation without legacy PS/2 adapters. Its compact mechanical dimensions and black finish facilitate installation in dense rack environments. Rated for universal mains voltages, the device accepts 110–240 V input and operates on a 12V supply, allowing stable performance in varied electrical environments.
Install the console into a standard 19" rack using the mounting brackets supplied with the unit, securing it at the desired 1U rack position. Connect the HDMI video cable from the server, switch or KVM matrix to the console's HDMI input. Plug the USB connectors for keyboard and mouse into the host or KVM ports as required. Connect the unit to the AC mains using an appropriate power cord; the internal power circuitry accepts 110–240 V and provides the 12 V required for operation. Power on the console and configure the attached devices according to the server or KVM documentation. Use the integrated keyboard and touchpad for local control and input when accessing connected systems.
For reliable operation, mount the console in a ventilated rack position away from direct heat sources and ensure cables are routed to avoid sharp bends. Use high-quality HDMI and USB cables to maintain signal integrity. When connecting to KVM extenders or switches, verify compatibility with the console's HDMI and USB interfaces and follow the KVM manufacturer's guidance for multi-system management.
