Rack Console Inter-Tech AS-7108 ULS
The Inter-Tech AS-7108 ULS is a 17" rack console designed for integration into server racks and technical cabinets. The display offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a brightness of 300 cd/m², while the compact dimensions (482 mm width, 44.5 mm height, 615 mm depth) make the unit suitable for standard 19-inch rack mounting. The console includes USB ports for keyboard and mouse connectivity and a VGA video port. It operates from a 12 V / 5 A power supply and is supplied in a black finish. The unit supports control of up to 256 computers and is intended for professional rack-based environments.
The rack console provides a full-HD 1920 x 1080 panel in a slim 1U form factor, combining a compact footprint with sufficient brightness for controlled server rooms. Built-in USB ports for keyboard and mouse simplify connection without additional adapters. A VGA video port ensures compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current systems. The design emphasises space efficiency and direct console access within a rack setup.
Install the console into a standard 19-inch rack at the desired height, secure it using appropriate rack screws, and connect the VGA cable to the server or KVM switch video output. Connect keyboard and mouse via the provided USB ports. Ensure the 12 V / 5 A power supply is connected to a compatible power source and switch on the unit. Use existing rack access procedures to switch between controlled computers if connected through a KVM matrix or compatible switching device. Follow server shutdown and maintenance procedures before disconnecting cables.
Place the console in a well-ventilated rack bay and avoid exposing the display to direct sunlight. Use VGA and USB cables of suitable quality and length to maintain signal integrity. For environments with many servers, combine the console with the existing KVM infrastructure to manage up to 256 systems while following standard ESD and safety practices.
