Key specifications
- Material: decorative foam with flexible texture
- Weight: lightweight for minimal added mass in projects
- Workability: easy to cut, shape and layer with craft tools
- Surface finish: suitable for paint, ink, adhesive and markers
- Typical uses: embellishments, textured effects and three-dimensional details
How to use
Cut the foam with scissors, hobby knives or die-cutting tools to achieve the desired shapes. For layered effects, use craft glue or double-sided adhesive to secure pieces; allow adhesives to dry fully. Apply acrylic paint, markers or inks directly to the surface for color and texture, testing on a scrap piece first to verify compatibility. If attaching to porous or textured surfaces, use an adhesive recommended for both materials to ensure a durable bond.
Usage recommendations
Store the foam flat in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve flexibility and prevent warping. When cutting intricate shapes, work on a stable cutting mat and use sharp blades for clean edges. Wear eye protection when using power tools and follow glue manufacturer instructions for ventilation and drying times.
