Patch Cable Intos Cat6 S/FTP PiMF 250MHz copper halogen-free yellow 0.5m
Patch Cable Intos Cat6 S/FTP PiMF 250MHz copper halogen-free yellow 0.5m
Intos Cat6 S/FTP PiMF patch cable, 0.5 m, with solid copper conductors and halogen-free jacket. This 250 MHz-rated cable is designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet links between network devices, switches and patch panels. The cable uses PiMF (paired in metal foil) shielding combined with an overall braided screen to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Molded RJ‑45 plugs on both ends feature strain relief, snap protection and a red-coloured plug for quick identification; the connector also shows the cable length for easier cable management in racks and patch panels. The cable is wired 1:1 according to EIA/TIA‑568B and comes in a reclosable PE bag with EAN code.
The double S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus paired metal foil) provides interference-free transmission up to 250 MHz, improving stability for Gigabit connections. Solid AWG27 copper conductors ensure low-loss signal transfer and consistent performance over the cable length. The halogen-free sheath reduces toxic gas emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for safety-sensitive installations. Robust molded RJ‑45 connectors with integrated bend protection and a red marking simplify installation and identification in dense cabling environments.
Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network device or switch port and the other into the destination patch panel or device port. Ensure connectors click into place and that strain relief boots are seated to prevent sharp bends at the plug. Follow standard structured cabling practices when routing the cable in racks or trays to avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force. The 1:1 wiring scheme matches typical Ethernet port pinouts, so no additional termination is required.
For best performance, avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines or strong electromagnetic sources. Use the short 0.5 m length for tidy patching in cabinets and avoid kinking; verify port LEDs and link speed after connection to confirm Gigabit negotiation.
