Thermostatic Radiator Valve Set INVENA CD-79-P15 chrome 1/2" simple
Thermostatic Radiator Valve Set INVENA CD-79-P15 chrome 1/2" simple
The INVENA CD-79-P15 thermostatic radiator valve set in chrome is a simple 1/2" valve assembly designed to regulate hot water flow to radiators in central heating systems. The set includes a valve body and the necessary fittings for direct connection to standard radiator pipework, providing a compact solution for temperature control in residential and light commercial heating installations.
The chrome finish offers corrosion resistance and a clean aesthetic that matches contemporary radiators and bathroom fixtures. As a thermostatic valve, it provides automatic temperature regulation by modulating water flow based on the radiator thermostat head (sold separately), improving comfort and helping maintain consistent room temperatures. The 1/2" connection size fits common radiator inlet pipes, simplifying replacement or new installations.
Install the valve set into the radiator inlet pipework according to the system layout, ensuring the correct orientation for flow direction. Fit the thermostatic head (not included) onto the valve spindle and adjust the head to the desired room temperature. Once fitted, the valve will automatically modulate water flow to the radiator to maintain the set temperature. Commission the system by bleeding air from radiators and checking for leaks at all connections.
Use with a compatible thermostatic head from the same or a compatible range for reliable temperature control. During installation, apply appropriate sealing material on threaded connections and tighten to recommended torque values. Periodic inspection and occasional lubrication of moving parts can extend service life; if the heating system is serviced, verify valve function and replace any worn components.
