The dock includes a dedicated LAN port that enables remote control of the device, including individual port-level management. Remote management software for Windows is available as an optional add-on and can be purchased separately; the dock retains full local functionality without the software. Manageability works without a host connection — only power and LAN are required. The docking station supports fast USB Gen 2 ports with fast charging and can drive up to two external monitors at up to 4K/60 Hz.
