The U3HUB448 4-port USB 3.0 hub expands a single USB 3.0 port into four additional ports, allowing connection of external hard drives, smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers and other USB devices. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, features a built-in 28 cm USB 3.0 cable and supports SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5 Gbps. The compact metal housing and 70 g weight make the hub convenient for use at home and on the move; an optional power adapter can be used for high-load tasks such as charging and large data transfers. The device uses plug-and-play operation and requires no drivers.

How to use

Connect the built-in USB 3.0 cable to a free USB 3.0 port on your notebook, Ultrabook or PC; the hub will be recognized automatically. Plug your USB devices into the hub’s ports. For high-power devices or multiple simultaneous charging operations, connect the optional power adapter to provide additional mains power. If your host only supports USB 2.0 or 1.1, the hub will operate at the lower standard’s speed while maintaining compatibility.
