The U3HUB448 4-port USB 3.0 hub expands a single USB 3.0 port into four additional ports, allowing connection of external hard drives, smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers and other USB devices. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, features a built-in 28 cm USB 3.0 cable and supports SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5 Gbps. The compact metal housing and 70 g weight make the hub convenient for use at home and on the move; an optional power adapter can be used for high-load tasks such as charging and large data transfers. The device uses plug-and-play operation and requires no drivers.
