Cooking kit Jetboil Trailcook 1.2L — 1.2 L cooking system, compact outdoor stove set, carbon color

The Jetboil Trailcook 1.2L cooking kit is a compact outdoor stove system designed for backpacking, camping and day hikes. The set features a 1.2-litre insulated pot with integrated stove interface that enables fast boiling and controlled simmering. Finished in carbon color to reduce visible wear, the Trailcook kit focuses on low pack weight, efficient fuel transfer and straightforward setup for field cooking of hot drinks, rehydrated meals and light one-pot dishes.

Advantages

The Trailcook's integrated stove interface creates a stable connection between burner and pot to maximize heat transfer and shorten boil times. The insulated pot construction retains heat and protects hands during handling, while the compact shape nests with compatible components to save space in a pack. The carbon finish lowers perceived abrasion and maintains a lightweight overall footprint without adding unnecessary features.

Suitable for

• Backpacking and multi-day hikes where low weight and compact size matter
• Car camping and weekend trips for quick hot meals and beverages
• Day hikes or emergency kits requiring a reliable one-pot cooking solution
• Preparing dehydrated meals, instant soups, coffee and tea

Key specifications

• Pot capacity: 1.2 litres
• Integrated stove interface for direct burner attachment
• Insulated pot body for heat retention and safer handling
• Compact, nestable design to minimize packed volume
• Carbon color finish to reduce visible abrasion and weight

How to use

Set the Jetboil Trailcook on a stable, level surface away from flammable material. Attach a compatible portable gas burner to the integrated interface following the burner manufacturer’s instructions. Add the required amount of water or ingredients to the 1.2 L pot, ignite the burner and adjust flame to reach a boil or simmer as needed. Use the insulated outer layer and available handles to pour or stir; allow contents to cool slightly before serving. After use, extinguish the burner, allow the pot to cool, then nest and pack components for transport.

Usage recommendations

The Trailcook 1.2L is optimized for single-person or small-group meals; for large-volume cooking choose larger-capacity systems. Use compatible gas canisters and follow all safety guidelines for outdoor stoves, including ventilation, flame control and secure burner attachment. Clean the pot after each trip to maintain insulation performance and inspect attachment points for wear before use.
