How to use

Install the EX4100-F on a desktop, shelf or in a small rack using the supplied mounting hardware if required. Connect the access ports to end devices or downstream switches using standard Ethernet cables. Use the multi-rate copper uplink ports to connect directly to higher-speed copper uplinks or to transitional equipment during upgrades. Insert compatible 10G SFP+ transceivers into the SFP+ slots to establish fiber or direct-attach 10G uplinks to aggregation switches; ensure optics are compatible with the peer device.
