Modular Disconnector 3P 100A Kanlux KMI-3/100A
Kanlux KMI-3/100A is a modular three-pole disconnector designed for manual isolation of three-phase circuits with a rated current of 100 A. The device is intended for installation in distribution boards and on DIN rails, providing a compact solution for safe interruption of electrical supply during maintenance, sectional control or system changes. Its modular form factor allows integration into residential and light commercial electrical installations where space-saving and clear disconnection are required.
The modular design enables easy mounting on standard DIN rails and convenient grouping with other modular devices. The three-pole construction ensures simultaneous disconnection of all phases, reducing the risk of asymmetric supply during maintenance. The compact footprint and clear manual operating handle offer straightforward isolation without additional auxiliary devices. Built for basic mechanical robustness and predictable electrical performance, the disconnector supports safe operational workflows in service and installation tasks.
This modular disconnector is intended for manual isolation and does not provide automatic tripping or overload protection; it should be used together with circuit breakers or fuses sized according to applicable regulations. It is not suitable as a substitute for motor starters, electronic protection relays, or devices requiring remote switching and automation functionality.
Install the disconnector on a compatible DIN rail inside the distribution board following national wiring regulations. Ensure that upstream protection devices (circuit breakers or fuses) are correctly specified and installed. Connect incoming and outgoing phase conductors to the designated terminals, tighten terminal screws to the recommended torque, and verify connections are secure before energising. Use the manual handle to open the device and provide a visible break in all phases during maintenance; close the handle only after confirming the work is complete and safe to re-energise.
Use this disconnector as part of a complete distribution system: pair it with appropriately rated circuit breakers or fuses, follow installation torques and wiring practices, and perform isolation only after verifying that systems are de-energised and locked out according to safety procedures.
