Distribution box Kanlux KDB-F06T 6-module DIN rail flush-mounted IP30 IK07
Kanlux KDB-F06T is a flush-mounted distribution box designed to accommodate up to six DIN-modules on a standard DIN rail. The enclosure is intended for recessed installation in walls or panels and provides basic mechanical protection and IP30-rated protection against solid objects. Its compact dimensions and straightforward construction make it suitable for residential and light commercial electrical installations where space-saving and a clean finish are required.
The distribution box features a built-in DIN rail for quick mounting of circuit breakers, residual-current devices and other modular components. IP30 protection prevents accidental contact with live parts while the IK07 rating provides impact resistance against moderate mechanical shock. The flush-mounted design leaves a neat visible finish on the wall surface and reduces the profile of the enclosure compared with surface-mounted alternatives.
Install the distribution box into a prepared recess in the wall or panel following local electrical codes and mounting instructions. Secure the enclosure and mount the supplied DIN rail if not pre-fitted, then attach modular devices such as MCBs and RCDs to the rail. Make all electrical connections with the power supply disconnected and ensure proper torque on terminal screws. After wiring, check that protective covers and the flush-mounted front are properly seated before restoring power.
Use the distribution box indoors in dry locations only and select components rated for the intended circuit current. Ensure installation by a qualified electrician and follow local regulations for circuit labelling, earthing and overload protection.
