Wooden Impregnated Rod Kard 1200 mm Ø23 mm
Wooden impregnated rod by Kard, 1200 mm long with a 23 mm diameter, is a treated round timber element designed for increased resistance to moisture and biological decay. The solid circular profile provides a compact, stable support that is easy to fix and integrates into a range of outdoor and light structural applications where a durable wooden dowel or stake is required.
The impregnation process extends service life by protecting the wood from rot and insect damage, reducing maintenance requirements in outdoor installations. Its uniform 23 mm diameter and smooth round profile enable straightforward drilling, cutting and fastening with common hand tools. The 1200 mm length offers sufficient reach for garden stakes, fencing rails and temporary supports while remaining lightweight and easy to transport and handle.
Select appropriate fixing methods for the intended application: driving the rod into soil for plant stakes, anchoring with concrete for permanent posts, or fastening with screws, brackets or nails when used in frames or fencing. Cut to required length with a saw, and pre-drill holes if using screws to avoid splitting. When installing in ground, set the rod vertically and ensure sufficient embedment depth for stability; for heavier loads, combine with a supporting sleeve or anchor.
For longest service life, place impregnated wooden rods where water can drain freely and avoid constant waterlogging. Apply appropriate protective measures where the rod will be in continuous contact with soil—use sleeves, gravel backfill or additional waterproofing if necessary. Follow local building codes for load-bearing or safety-critical installations.
