The mechanism is designed for installation into standard electrical wall boxes. Once the wiring is connected to the internal terminals according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard, the module is secured into the wall box. After the frame and cover plate are attached, the socket is ready to accept standard Ethernet patch cables for immediate network connectivity.
