Kensington MicroSaver 2.0 keyed laptop lock is a compact security device designed to protect laptops and other compatible devices. Engineered as Kensington’s smallest and strongest lock, it combines a 10 mm lock head, carbon steel cable and patented technologies to deliver reliable physical protection and long-term durability.

Advantages

The 10 mm lock head provides secure anchoring even for thin laptops, while the carbon steel cable resists cutting attempts and can be looped around a desk or other fixed structure. Patented Hidden Pin™ Technology supports an anti-pick tubular lock and T-Bar™ Locking Technology engages the Kensington Security Slot™ found on most laptops. The design includes a pivoting, rotating cable for improved engagement and has been independently tested for torque, pull, corrosion and lifecycle performance. A Register & Retrieve™ program is available to order replacement keys.

How to use

Insert the T-Bar™ lock head into the Kensington Security Slot™ on your laptop or compatible device until it engages. Loop the carbon steel cable around a fixed object such as a desk leg or anchor point and secure the cable end to the lock head. Ensure the cable pivot allows proper alignment and rotate if necessary to achieve firm engagement. Keep the key in a safe place and, if needed, use the Register & Retrieve™ service to obtain replacement keys.
