Ball valve kfa² 700-110-50 2" threaded water connection
The kfab2 ball valve 700-110-50 is a 2" threaded water connection valve designed for reliable on/off flow control in plumbing systems. It uses a standard ball-valve mechanism with female threaded ends to provide positive shut-off for potable and non-potable water lines. The valve is intended for pipeline isolation, repair work and installations where a durable and straightforward shut-off solution is required.
The valve offers a compact and robust construction with a full-port ball design that minimizes pressure drop and allows efficient water flow when open. Female threaded connections make installation simple with standard pipe fittings. The mechanical simplicity of the ball mechanism reduces the likelihood of internal leakage and makes operation quick and precise. Materials and finish are selected for corrosion resistance in typical water service environments.
Install the valve into the pipeline using compatible 2" male threaded fittings and appropriate sealing tape or joint compound on threads. Orient the valve so the handle is accessible for quarter-turn operation. To open the valve, rotate the handle 90 degrees to align the ball bore with the flow; to close, rotate back 90 degrees so the ball blocks flow. Perform pressure and leak tests after installation and follow local plumbing codes for mounting and support to avoid strain on threaded connections.
Use thread sealant compatible with potable water if the valve is installed on drinking water lines. Avoid using the valve as a flow regulator; operate it fully open or fully closed to prolong service life. Periodic inspection and exercising of the valve are recommended in installations with infrequent use to prevent seizing.
