Storage domestic hot water cylinder KOSPEL SE-300.1 — vertical, 300 L, without heat exchanger coil
KOSPEL SE-300.1 is a vertical domestic hot water storage cylinder with a 300-litre capacity, supplied without an internal heat exchanger coil. It is intended to store domestic hot water (DHW) in installations where heating is provided by external heat sources or separate heat exchangers. The cylinder’s vertical design allows compact floor footprint while offering significant buffer capacity for residential or commercial systems that require centralized DHW storage and integration with boilers, heat pumps, or solar thermal circuits.
The storage cylinder provides a large 300 L capacity for stable domestic hot water availability and reduced cycling of heat generators. Supplied without an internal heat exchanger coil, it offers flexibility to connect external exchangers or directly integrate with primary heating circuits. The vertical configuration saves floor area and simplifies placement in plant rooms or utility spaces. Constructed for potable water use, the tank supports common installation layouts and facilitates straightforward maintenance and cleaning.
This model is supplied without an internal heat exchanger coil, so it is not appropriate if you require an integrated coil for direct heating from a boiler or solar loop. Projects that need a horizontal cylinder or a smaller/larger capacity should consider other models. Also, installations with very high instantaneous hot water demand may need additional or larger storage to avoid supply interruptions.
Connect the cylinder to the primary heating source or external heat exchanger according to the hydraulic scheme of your installation. Ensure correct inlet and outlet connections for cold water feed, hot water draw-off and any safety or expansion connections required by local regulations. Commission the tank with appropriate flushing and disinfection for potable water systems before regular use. Observe recommended working pressures and temperatures specified by the system designer and use certified fittings and valves for all connections.
For optimal operation, pair the KOSPEL SE-300.1 with an appropriate external heat exchanger or heat source sized for the expected DHW demand. Maintain periodic inspection of connections, sacrificial anodes (if fitted) and perform routine flushing to prevent sediment build-up. Follow local codes for potable water systems and schedule professional commissioning to ensure correct hydraulic balancing and safety device settings.
