Standing Heat Exchanger with Spiral Coil KOSPEL SW TERMO MAX120 SW-120.TERMO-MAX
Standing heat exchanger KOSPEL SW TERMO MAX120 with integrated spiral coil (SW-120.TERMO-MAX) is a vertical indirect heat exchanger designed to provide domestic hot water heated by a separate primary heating circuit. The unit combines a compact vertical storage body with a spiral coil heat exchanger to enable thermal separation between the primary circuit and the domestic hot water loop while maintaining efficient heat transfer and stratification.
The spiral coil design increases the heat exchange surface within a compact volume, enabling fast and even heat transfer from boilers, heat pumps or other primary heat sources. The vertical orientation and internal coil promote thermal stratification, which helps maintain higher usable hot water temperature at the outlet. Connections for primary and secondary circuits are arranged for straightforward integration into existing installations that require indirect domestic hot water heating with coil-type storage-exchange solutions.
Install the standing exchanger in a location that allows access to primary and secondary connections and adequate space for service. Connect the primary heating circuit to the coil inlet and outlet, and connect the domestic hot water circuit to the secondary ports according to local plumbing standards. Commission the system by flushing and filling both circuits, checking for leaks, and controlling flow rates and temperature setpoints from the primary heat source. Maintain recommended operating pressures and follow the primary heat source manufacturer instructions for safe and efficient operation.
Use corrosion-inhibiting treatment and appropriate water quality control for the primary circuit when required by system design. Ensure regular inspection of connections and periodic flushing where local water conditions cause sediment or scaling. For best performance, size the primary heat source and flow rates to match the exchanger's expected load and consult a qualified installer to verify correct hydraulic balancing and control settings.
