Patch panel LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.5E UTP gray
Patch panel LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.5E UTP gray
LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.5E UTP gray patch panel provides a compact and standardized solution for terminating and organizing copper network cabling. Designed for installation in 19-inch racks and cabinets, this 0.5U panel offers 24 RJ45 ports compatible with Cat.5E UTP structured cabling, enabling voice and data connections in small offices, server rooms and telecom enclosures. The metal housing and front-mounted ports simplify cable management and allow centralized patching of Ethernet links.
The panel occupies only half a unit of rack space while offering a full set of 24 ports, which helps maximize available rack density. Each RJ45 port is clearly labeled on the front to speed up identification and changes. The product is built to support Cat.5E performance, providing reliable copper connectivity for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T networks when installed according to standards. Robust metal construction and standardized mounting holes ensure compatibility with common 19" racks and stable long-term operation.
Install the patch panel in a standard 19" rack using the mounting holes and appropriate screws. Terminate individual horizontal cables on the rear IDC or punch-down blocks according to T568A or T568B wiring scheme, ensuring correct pair alignment and proper cable dressing. Use the front RJ45 ports to connect patch cords from switches, routers or active equipment for easy cross-connections and rearrangements. Label ports as needed to reflect the network topology and maintain documentation for future changes.
For reliable Cat.5E performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths, avoid tight bends near terminations, and maintain separation from power cables. Use high-quality Cat5E patch cords and perform continuity and performance tests after installation to verify proper connectivity.
