Patch panel LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.6 FTP shielded, black
Patch panel LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.6 FTP shielded, black
LANBERG 24-port 0.5U 19" Cat.6 FTP shielded patch panel in black provides centralized termination for structured Ethernet cabling. Designed for 19-inch racks and cabinets, this compact 0.5U panel accommodates 24 RJ45 ports and supports Cat.6 FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) installations. It simplifies cable management, enables easier testing and troubleshooting of network links, and is suitable for server rooms, data cabinets and horizontal office or industrial cabling.
The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal integrity in environments with electrical noise. With 24 clearly numbered RJ45 ports in a half-rack height, the panel saves rack space while keeping connections accessible for maintenance. Robust metal construction and a standardized 19" format ensure compatibility with most racks and cabinets used in professional installations.
Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" rack or cabinet occupying 0.5U of rack space. Terminate horizontal Cat.6 FTP cables on the rear termination points according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B), ensuring the shield is properly connected to the rack ground. Route and secure cables to avoid strain on terminations. Use front RJ45 ports for patch cords to connect switches, routers and other active equipment. Verify link continuity and performance after installation with cable testers that support Cat.6 parameters.
For optimal performance, use Cat.6 FTP cabling and maintain proper grounding of the shield. Keep cable runs within standard length limits and avoid tight bends. Label both ends of each cable and plan rack layout to allow access for future changes and testing.
