This compact duplex patchcord is intended for short-range optical connections in data centers, server rooms and enterprise network equipment where reliable multimode transmission is required.
The LANBERG patchcord provides consistent multimode performance over OM3 fiber specifications, supporting high-speed short-reach links. LC/UPC duplex connectors ensure stable ferrule alignment and low insertion loss for patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels. The 3.0 mm jacket offers handling durability while the LSZH outer sheath reduces hazardous emissions, meeting installation safety requirements in enclosed or public spaces.
Route the patchcord between the LC ports of the source and destination devices, ensuring the duplex pair orientation matches transmit to receive. Insert LC connectors until they click to secure the connection and verify link status on the connected equipment. Avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fiber; handle connectors by the boot or connector body to keep ferrule endfaces clean. When disconnecting, withdraw the connector by the boot and cap or protect unused ends to prevent contamination.
