Description

The Lanberg KSUA-2000 is a Cat.6a UTP keystone module with a female RJ45 (8P/8C) jack and an internal LSA IDC connection. Its compact flat design (14.5 mm × 16.1 mm) allows installation in standard keystone adapters, 45×45 faceplates, electrical frames and modular panels, providing a versatile solution for structured cabling and outlet mounting. The module supports both 568A and 568B wiring schemes and is built on a PCBA printed circuit board.

Advantages

This unshielded Cat.6a keystone socket meets Cat.6a standards (EN 50173-1:2011, EN 60603-7-4 and ANSI/TIA 568-C.2), supports PoE up to 36 V and accepts conductors from 22 to 26 AWG (up to 0.644 mm). It features universal slotted IDC contacts compatible with LSA tools and a clearly marked 568A/568B color code for easy termination.

How to use

Insert the KSUA-2000 keystone module into a compatible keystone adapter or faceplate opening (16.10×14.50 mm). Terminate the Ethernet cable on the internal LSA/IDC contacts following the printed 568A or 568B colour code, using an LSA tool if preferred for a secure connection. Snap the module into the panel or frame until it locks, then connect patch cables to the external RJ45 jack.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance, use Cat.6a-compliant cables and maintain proper cable management and bend radius. Verify wiring with a network tester after termination and avoid mixing shielded and unshielded components in the same link.
