Network patch cable LANBERG Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45–RJ-45, 15 m, blue
LANBERG Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45–RJ-45 patch cable, 15 m in blue, is a structured Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. The cable uses unshielded U/UTP construction and standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing Cat5e performance suitable for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet links where Cat5e is specified. The blue outer jacket helps with visual identification and organized cable routing in patch panels, racks, and desktop installations.
This LANBERG Cat5e cable provides stable data transmission with Cat5e-rated pair twisting and consistent conductor geometry. The U/UTP design reduces cost and weight while remaining appropriate for typical office and residential electromagnetic environments. RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards that accept 8P8C connectors. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within network cabinets without using multiple shorter cables.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your switch, router, patch panel or device, and plug the other connector into the corresponding Ethernet port of the target device. Ensure connectors click into place to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and sources of electrical interference. For fixed installations, use cable management solutions such as cable ties, trunking or patch panels to maintain order and prevent strain on connectors.
For best performance, avoid running the U/UTP cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances and keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use this Cat5e cable where Cat5e performance is required; for environments with high electromagnetic interference or future-proofing to higher speeds, consider shielded or higher-category cables.
