Unmanaged Switch Lanberg RSFE-4P-2FE-60
The Lanberg RSFE-4P-2FE-60 is an unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch with six RJ-45 ports, four of which provide PoE/PoE+ power. Designed for compact rack or desktop installations, it supports IEEE 802.3 standards and delivers a switching capacity of 1.2 Gbit/s with a MAC address table of 1000 entries. The switch supplies up to 60 W total PoE power, combining data transmission and power delivery over the same cabling to simplify deployments in small offices, surveillance setups, IP phone networks and other Ethernet environments where remote devices lack local power sources.
The device provides simultaneous data and power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, with a real PoE budget of 60 W. It features an intelligent port-disconnect mechanism that disables the highest-numbered PoE ports first when the power budget is exceeded, helping to protect critical devices connected to lower-numbered ports. Ports 1–4 support an optional Extend mode allowing PoE and data transmission up to 250 meters at reduced data rate. The switch includes integrated 4 kV ESD protection on all ports and comes with rack-mount brackets for both 10" and 19" cabinets for flexible installation.
Install the RSFE-4P-2FE-60 on a desktop or mount it in a 10" or 19" rack using the supplied ears and screws. Connect uplink ports to your network backbone or NVR, and connect PoE-capable devices (cameras, phones, APs) to the PoE ports. Configure connected devices locally as required; the switch is unmanaged and requires no additional configuration. If longer cable runs are needed, enable the "PoE+ Extend 250 m" position on the housing for ports 1–4 to provide power and data up to 250 m at reduced data rate. Place critical devices on lower-numbered PoE ports to prioritize their continuity if the total PoE budget is exceeded.
For reliable operation, plan PoE power allocation according to device requirements (max. 15 W per port for 802.3af, max. 30 W per port for 802.3at) and distribute critical equipment to lower-numbered ports. Use the extend mode only when necessary and accept the reduced data rate for long runs. Ensure proper grounding and cable shielding where environmental hazards or electrostatic risk are present to take full advantage of the 4 kV ESD protection.
