Fiber patch cord LANBERG Z32807 OM2 50/125 Duplex 1 m Orange
LANBERG Z32807 OM2 50/125 Duplex 1 m Orange is a fiber patch cord designed for short-range multimode optical links. The cable uses 50/125 µm core/cladding multimode fiber in OM2 specification and terminates in duplex LC connectors, housed in an orange jacket and supplied in a 1 metre length. It is intended for interconnection of patch panels, switches, transceivers and other active equipment in data centres, server rooms and local area network (LAN) installations where OM2 multimode performance is required.
The duplex LC termination provides compact, reliable two-channel connectivity with low insertion loss suitable for OM2 multimode networks. The 50/125 µm fiber specification ensures compatibility with standard multimode transceivers and passive infrastructure designed for OM2. The orange jacket offers visual identification for multimode OM2 cabling and helps separate multimode links from singlemode runs. The 1 m length minimises excess slack in patching environments and supports neat cable management in racks and panels.
Install the LANBERG Z32807 by inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on patch panels, switches or transceiver modules, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. Route the cable through the rack or patch panel space avoiding sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management to prevent stress on the connectors. Verify link status and perform optical loss or continuity checks if required by your commissioning procedures.
Use this OM2 duplex patch cord for multimode links within the specified reach of OM2 components; avoid using it as a replacement for singlemode links. Keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines and use dust caps when connectors are not engaged to maintain optical performance.
