The LANCOM IGS-3128XF is an industrial Gigabit fiber access switch with cloud management designed for reliable distribution and internal networking of additional switches in manufacturing, logistics, energy and other demanding environments. How to use

Mount the IGS-3128XF in a 1U rack or compact distribution cabinet using the supplied brackets. Connect uplinks with 10G SFP+ modules and use the 1G SFP or combo ports for access links to switches and end devices. Power the device via the integrated IEC AC cable or connect an external 24–72 V DC source for redundant supply. Use the LANCOM Management Cloud to provision device and port templates centrally; enable VLAN and port profiles for automated, zero-touch assignment. For diagnostics or advanced configuration, start a Secure Terminal Access session from LMC to access the CLI securely.

Recommendations

Use fiber SFP modules for long-distance, interference-free links and enable link aggregation for high-bandwidth uplinks. Configure redundant AC and DC power where continuous availability is required and apply VLAN and IEEE 802.1X policies to enforce access control. Keep LCOS SX firmware updated via LMC to maintain security and compatibility.
