LANCOM XS-4554YUP
The LANCOM XS-4554YUP is a managed, full Layer‑3 access switch designed for demanding enterprise infrastructures. It provides 48 multi‑Gigabit RJ‑45 Ethernet ports (36x 2.5G and 12x 10G) with PoE++ support, four SFP28 (25G) and two QSFP28 (100G) fiber uplinks/stacking ports, a 1,020 Gbps switching capacity and a 32k MAC address table. The unit is 1U rack‑mountable, black in colour, includes a hot‑swappable PSU and redundant hot‑swappable fans, and supports console access via RJ‑45 or micro‑USB. Management options include web GUI, CLI and the LANCOM Management Cloud for centralized configuration and monitoring.
The LANCOM XS-4554YUP delivers multi‑Gigabit throughput and a high PoE budget on all copper ports, enabling simultaneous high‑performance data and power delivery to modern endpoints such as Wi‑Fi 7 access points. Its Layer‑3 routing capabilities (OSPF, BGP4) and industry‑standard CLI provide flexible integration into existing network topologies, while VPC and stack support ensure redundancy and the possibility of near‑continuous operation during maintenance or ISSU. Hardware redundancy (hot‑swappable PSU and fans) and cloud management with secure remote access options increase operational reliability and simplify large‑scale rollouts.
Install the LANCOM XS-4554YUP into a standard 19" rack using the included slide‑in rails and connect power via the AC inlet. For PoE deployment, connect endpoints using CAT6a/CAT7 cables where 10G throughput is required. Choose a management method—web GUI, CLI or LANCOM Management Cloud—and perform initial configuration: assign management IP, configure VLANs, enable PoE profiles, and set routing protocols (OSPF/BGP) as required. For redundancy, configure VPC or stack membership on uplink ports and verify ISSU and non‑stop forwarding behavior. Use the console (RJ‑45 or micro‑USB) for local setup and troubleshooting, and enable secure remote access (SSH/SNMPv3/TACACS+) for operational management.
For optimal 10G performance and PoE stability, use CAT6a or CAT7 cabling for 10G copper links, ensure both PSUs are installed when high PoE budgets are required, and enable stacking or VPC for high‑availability topologies. Regularly update the device using supported LCOS SX releases and back up configurations before firmware updates.
