SFP module Lanview SFP-10G-SR — compatible 10G short-range fiber transceiver
Lanview SFP-10G-SR is a compatible SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet short-range fiber connections. The module fits standard SFP+ slots and supports multimode fiber links for distances typically used in server rooms, data centers and campus networks. It provides hot-pluggable installation and a compact SFP+ form factor for straightforward replacement or upgrade of existing network equipment.
The transceiver supports 10 Gbps data rates over multimode fiber and conforms to SFP+ mechanical dimensions for compatibility with a wide range of switches, routers and network interface cards. Hot-pluggable design minimizes downtime during installation or replacement. The module is built to enable reliable short-range connectivity in dense networking environments while maintaining low power consumption and a small physical footprint.
Insert the Lanview SFP-10G-SR into an available SFP+ slot on a switch, router or network interface card until it clicks into place. Connect the multimode fiber patch cable to the transceiver’s optical connector, ensuring correct polarity and secure connections at both ends. After installation, verify link status and speed on the network device; the module supports automatic negotiation to establish a 10 Gbps link where supported. To remove the module, disconnect the fiber cable and release the transceiver following the host device’s recommended procedure.
Use compatible multimode fiber cabling and follow equipment vendor guidelines for SFP+ compatibility to ensure optimal performance. Maintain clean fiber connectors and perform regular inspections to prevent signal loss. Handle the module carefully and observe ESD precautions during installation.
