SFP Fiber Optic Transceiver Lanview MO-UF-MM-1G 1000 Mbit/s LC 850 nm
Lanview MO-UF-MM-1G is an SFP fiber optic transceiver designed for short-range multimode fiber links. It supports a 1000 Mbit/s data rate over an LC connector using an 850 nm wavelength and follows MSA interoperability guidelines. The module is compatible with Ubiquiti UF-MM-1G devices and other SFP ports that accept MSA-compliant transceivers, providing a compact form factor suitable for Gigabit Ethernet uplinks and local fiber connections.
The transceiver delivers Gigabit performance with a standard LC interface and 850 nm multimode operation, enabling reliable short-distance fiber connectivity. Its SFP form factor and MSA compliance make it interchangeable with a wide range of network equipment that supports SFP modules. The compact dimensions and low weight make it easy to install and handle in rack or switch environments.
This module is intended for multimode fiber and short-range links; it is not suitable for single-mode long-distance connections. It also requires a device with an SFP slot that accepts MSA-compliant transceivers and may not function with equipment that enforces vendor-specific firmware or locked ports.
Power off or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by your network equipment vendor, insert the SFP transceiver into an available SFP port until it seats firmly, and connect a suitable multimode LC duplex fiber patch cable. After installation, verify link status and network settings on the host device to confirm Gigabit connectivity. Follow any vendor-specific instructions for enabling third-party transceivers if required by the equipment.
Use certified multimode LC patch cables in good condition, keep fiber connectors clean, and follow ESD-safe handling procedures during installation. Test the link after insertion and monitor signal and error counters to ensure stable Gigabit performance.
