The LC-Power LC-HUB-ALU-2B-4 is a compact USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub that expands a computer's connectivity with three Type-A ports and an additional dedicated charging port. Housed in a black aluminium and plastic enclosure and supplied with a USB cable and external power adapter, the hub supports SuperSpeed data transfer and is compatible with a wide range of operating systems.

Advantages

This USB hub provides three USB 3.x Type-A ports with downward compatibility to USB 2.0/1.1, delivering nominal SuperSpeed data rates up to 5 Gb/s for compatible devices. The aluminium body improves durability and heat dissipation. An extra dedicated charging port delivers 5 V / 2.4 A to charge one peripheral without data transfer. The hub is plug-and-play and works across Windows and macOS systems.

How to use

Connect the included external power adapter to the hub and plug it into a mains outlet. Use the supplied USB 3.0 cable to connect the hub's host connector to a computer USB Type-A port. Attach up to three peripherals to the data ports; the hub supports plug-and-play operation so drivers are generally not required. To charge a mobile device, use the dedicated charging port — note that this port does not provide data transfer.
