Legrand VALENA LIFE Wall RJ45 Socket 1x RJ45 Cat.6 UTP white (753142)
The Legrand VALENA LIFE Wall RJ45 Socket provides a single RJ45 Cat.6 UTP port in a white faceplate designed for standard wall-mounted installations. Intended for structured network cabling, the socket supports Gigabit Ethernet over Category 6 UTP cabling and fits common European faceplate cutouts. The compact, low-profile design integrates with VALENA LIFE ranges and household or office interiors while delivering a reliable physical connection for wired network devices.
This wall RJ45 socket is built to meet Cat.6 performance requirements for data transmission, offering support for high-speed local network connections and reduced crosstalk compared with lower categories. The UTP (unshielded twisted pair) format simplifies installation in environments where shielded cabling is unnecessary. The module's form factor is compatible with standard mounting frames and faceplates, making replacement or integration straightforward for electricians and installers.
Install the RJ45 socket into a compatible mounting frame or faceplate following local electrical and building regulations. Terminate the incoming Cat6 UTP cable on the socket's IDC or punch-down connectors according to the color-coding scheme and ensure a correct pair alignment for Cat6 performance. Secure the module in the wall box and attach the faceplate. After installation, test the connection with a network cable tester and connect devices using a standard RJ45 patch cable to establish a wired Ethernet link.
For best results, use Category 6 UTP cabling from the distribution point to the socket, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for Ethernet, and avoid running data cables parallel to high-voltage lines to minimize interference.
