The LevelOne FVT-1103 single-mode fiber optic media converter with SC connector converts network signals between copper and single-mode fiber networks. It provides one 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, supports both full-duplex and half-duplex operation, and automatically detects 10Base-T or 100Base-TX link speeds. With appropriate single-mode fiber cabling, the converter supports link distances up to 40 km. The unit can operate as a standalone device or be installed as a plug-in module in a CHV-2000 19" chassis that holds up to 14 converters for centralized rack deployment.
