The LevelOne FVT-1106 SMF SC media converter converts network signals between copper Ethernet and single-mode fiber-optic networks. It includes a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port with auto-sensing for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX and supports both full-duplex and half-duplex operation. When used with single-mode fiber, the converter enables network extension up to 120 km. The unit can operate standalone or be installed as a slide-in module in the CHV-2000 19" Converter Chassis for centralized mounting.
